Our customary autumn University Fair is back again, after two years in which the event was only held online due to the pandemic emergency. Despite the success of past editions, the enthusiasm of students, parents, and university representatives - who were finally able to meet in person - was immediately apparent. Given the wide choice of courses and university destinations accessible to our students, these events are essential to give them the opportunity to research and refine their choices and to find answers to some of their questions by approaching the institutions themselves.
Representatives from as many as 49 universities were present at the event: 23 from the UK, 14 from Italy, and 12 from other EU countries (France, the Netherlands, Spain, and Switzerland). All students from Grade 10 to 13 had the opportunity to visit the fair and it was wonderful to see the sports hall full of smiling faces and the presence of so many parents and teachers.
A special mention goes to our team, who did an amazing job on the morning of Tuesday 11 October in setting up the gymnasium spaces just before our guests arrived, and then managed to restore them again in time for the 1pm volleyball match!
Thanks also to the CAS students in Grades 12 and 13, whose help as student guides was greatly appreciated.
